It is very hard to believe that 2017-18 is coming to a close.  We are quickly approaching the end of what has proven to be another busy and successful school year.

This has been an exciting year of learning in Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.  Let’s not forget the fun of electives like Spanish, AVID, Tech Apps, Gateway, Art, Dance, PE, and Leadership.  But wait there is more… we had great award winning performances from Band, Theater Arts, Choir, Cheer, Drill Team, Football, Track, Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Color Guard.

We also celebrated extra-curricular achievements with Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, Lego League, Destination Imagination, Spelling Bee, Geo Bee, and Library activities, such as Guitar group and Chewie the reading dog.

And who could forget all the fun we had at the loud and spirited pep rallies and assemblies.

As we reflect on all of our experiences for 2017-18, we see that it has been an amazing year of learning, doing, creating, participating, performing, growing, and transitioning.

Our capacity to take on challenges and meet our goals is evident as you walk around the building and find meaningful instruction going on in virtually every classroom each period.  We all know the final days are as important as the first days.  Our students and teachers are to be commended for all our outstanding accomplishments.

With commitment and resolve, we can continue to make the end as exciting as the beginning.  Let’s keep up the fine work as we look forward to the care free and leisurely days of summer.

I deeply appreciate your support for the CPMS vision and partnership that enables our students to “learn today so they can lead tomorrow.”

Have a wonderful summer!!!

See you back in the fall, Go Leopards!

A Message from the Leander ISD Board of Trustees
There are no words to express our sense of loss and heartbreak after the tragic events in Santa Fe. A place of learning should never be the setting for violence, yet the loss of young life has once again touched our state and nation. We share in the anger and grief of the Santa Fe community and extend our offers of support.
